CAS Sociologist Wins Faculty Member of the Year Award

Dr. Kenneth Johnson, recipient of the 2006 Faculty Member of the Year award
Kenneth Johnson, Professor of Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences, was recently recognized as the 2006 recipient of Loyola's "Faculty Member of the Year" award. As a sociologist and expert on Chicago's demographics, Johnson studies population trends and the dynamics of human population movements in the urban environment. An active contributor to Loyola's Center for Excellence on Urban Environmental Research and Policy (CUERP), Johnson is frequently called upon by the media, individual members of Congress, and various Congressional entities to offer advice on demographic policy issues.
