How to Apply

For Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Loyola's Office of Student Financial Assistance is committed to helping families finance a student's education. If Loyola University Chicago is your college choice, and you meet the requirements for admission, we'll do everything possible to make sure your dream of an exceptional college education becomes a reality.

Our financial assistance professionals will work with you to create a package that makes the most of all the financial resources available to you—what you and your family can contribute and what Loyola and others have to offer. It is a partnership where we all work together to reach our common goal—making your Loyola education achievable and affordable.

The first step is yours. Applying early for financial assistance is the key to unlocking the resources you may need, because the more time we have to work together, the greater our chances of finding the perfect combination of financial resources for you.

Note: Since the majority of our students choose to file the FAFSA online, the Department of Education does not make paper applications available to schools. If you would like a paper application, you must call 1-800-4FEDAID to request one be mailed to you or from the links below you may complete the online form then print out the FAFSA .

We recommend you file the FAFSA online. Not only is filing online is not only faster, but many errors are revealed and highlighted for correction before your FAFSA is even submitted  -  which leads to easier processing and reduced need to submit additional documentation.
