External Transfer Students
Note:
Our nursing program is filled to capacity and we are not accepting any external transfer students at this time. The School of Nursing will begin accepting external transfer students beginning fall semester 2009.
Students who attend other colleges and universities may transfer to the Niehoff School of Nursing as an external transfer student.
Admission Requirements
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0 scale
- Minimum grade of "B" in all science courses
- Completion of the following 58 required prerequisite credits before beginning the program.

| Developmental Psychology | 3 credits |
| Theological and religious knowledge* | 6 credits |
| Microbiology | 3 credits |
| Anatomy and Physiology I & II (with labs) | 8 credits |

Visit Undergraduate Admission to find out which courses will transfer from community colleges. Students who have not completed the curriculum outline above may need to take summer-school courses to complete the requirements. After acceptance into the School of Nursing, all remaining classes must be completed at Loyola.
