CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
The Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing offers certificate programs for post-baccalaureate nurses and other health professionals looking to advance their knowledge and skills in their practice areas or to expand their career options. Certificate programs are also a great introduction to the Master of Science in Nursing program.
Post-master's nurse practitioner certificate programs are also available for those master’s prepared nurses who wish to gain needed content expertise to prepare for a nurse-practitioner national certification examination. A minimum of 2,000 hours experience in the area of nurse-practitioner focus is necessary. Many certificate programs are conveniently offered online.
