Funds are available to help Loyola researchers and scholars, as described below.  The first priority of all internal funding programs administered by the Graduate School/Research Services is to increase the capacity of Loyola faculty to secure external funding for their research and/or other scholarly activities.

5. Course Reduction (Scholarship Stimulation) Program: One-course reduction program for full-time, tenure-track faculty:
   
   

   - College of Arts and Sciences

   This competitive program, jointly sponsored by the Office of Research Services and the College of Arts and Sciences' (CAS) Dean's Office, is designed to provide a one-course reduction, in an academic year, to encourage the pursuit of scholarship among full-time, tenure-track faculty in the CAS. Each department's chairperson nominates up to two faculty proposals for the following academic year. For further information, please contact Arthur J.    This competitive program, jointly sponsored by the Office of Research Services and the School of Education, is designed to provide a one course reduction in an academic year to encourage the pursuit of scholarship for full-time, tenure-track faculty in SOE.    This competitive program, jointly sponsored by the Office of Research Services and the School of Business Administration, is designed to provide a one course reduction in an academic year to encourage the pursuit of scholarship for full-time, tenure-track faculty in SBA. These awards and honors are awarded to Loyola Faculty following various nomination processes:

1. Faculty Member of the Year: Awarded to any full-time Loyola faculty member by the Faculty Council of Loyola University Chicago through a nomination process administered by Faculty Council during the spring semester of each academic year.
   
   
   
   
2. Graduate School Faculty Member of the Year: Awarded to any faculty member of the Graduate School Faculty of Loyola University Chicago by the Graduate School through a nomination process administered by the Graduate School during the spring semester of each academic year.
