The John Felice Rome Center (JFRC), founded by John Felice in 1962, is Loyola University of Chicago's campus in Italy. The JFRC is located in the upper Balduina district on Monte Mario, Rome's highest hill. The JFRC's multi-level, residential complex is set in the midst of five beautiful acres of land. The neighborhood is home to affluent diplomats, senators, judges and other distinguished families.
The Rome Center is two blocks from the nearest bus stop (990), north of the Vatican 20 minutes by bus or 40 minutes on foot, and northwest of downtown (Roma Centro) 35-45 minutes by bus.
Just a few minutes walking from the Rome Center are grocery stores, cafes and restaurants, banks or ATM machines, bakeries, a post office, a salon, UPIM (sells towels, toiletries, etc.) and other small businesses.
The street address is Via Massimi 114/A. The telephone number is (06) 355-881.
