Minor in Economics

Non-SBA students who wish to expand their skills in economics may pursue an economics minor. The minor requires 18 credit hours in theses courses:

  • ECON 201. Principles of Economics I (Micro)
  • ECON 202. Principles of Economics II (Macro)
  • Four 300-level economics courses

SBA students who wish to pursue a minor in economics must complete three 300-level economics courses in addition to their business core course, ECON 303 or ECON 304.

A maximum of one transfer course is allowed at the discretion of the assistant dean of SBA. A 2.0 average GPA is required for all courses.
