Approval of the October 10 Minutes
New Business:
Review the status of the Check-List of Unviersity-Wide Initiatives updated
by Beane after the Oct. 22 Leadership Meeting.
Determine if certain initiatives should begin at this time, such as:
Goal 1.3.b: Develop an affirmative action plan and regularly review the
effectiveness of the plan (Kelly, Denisienko)
Goal 1.4.a. Establish an integrated educational plan to improve student
leadership skills that emphasizes service learning, volunteerism, and
internships (Salmi, Roy)
Goal 3.5.a: Launch planning task force for Mundelein Center (Garanzini)
Goal 5.4.a: Establish task force to assess future of library, study space &
staff support (Garanzini)
Goal 5.6.a: Determine regular, annual reports from Institutional
Research(Hurst)
Goal 10.2.a: Enhance alumni relations and services to increase outreach to
alumni and friends--determine the plan for these actions (Ward)
Any other initiatives from the Check-List that should be activated?
